May 16-19th

Clearly, I'm off to a good start. Allow me to relearn the definition of "one blog post a day" and pick up where we left off. Hey, cut me some slack! I'm not hitting the ground running, but at least I'm crawling. Certainly, I'll make it to a nice walk in the near future. All in all, it's been a slow start. Not that I'm surprised. I'm sure it'll take me a bit longer to really get a good hold of my bearings, but I'm trying.

It's been a busy few days for me. Not...thoroughly productive in the way I probably would have liked, but when I wasn't at work, I did do a couple things that are worth being proud of:

• Finished a piece of artwork
• Went through my closet and drawers for a clothing purge
• Cleaned (most of) my room
• Socialized with a friend
• Finished a role play post and made progress on another
• Exercised daily

Truthfully, I would have liked to have accomplished more within the past couple days, but my mind isn't fully there, yet. I had also had more plans over the weekend, but they got cancelled (not on my part), unfortunately. I bought the Game of Thrones book, which I had rented from the library, to further encourage myself to read it, and I hope to finish that role play post I've been writing, and also get another piece of artwork done today.

I want to have at least one more sample to offer before I open commissions. As it is, I've been getting more feedback showing a lack of interest in commissioning me as opposed to positive, but I feel that with at least a couple words of interest, I might as well give it a shot. You never know, right?

Here's to hoping that my proactive feelings in terms of my artwork can earn me some cash! Tomorrow, I'll aim for a better, less summarized entry.
